No Oven Granola & Chiajam

What do you do when you forgot preparing your overnight oats the night before? Imagine what will happen in the next day morning. For me it’s a complete chaos. As I need to get to my German class at 8 am ‘pünktlich’ (it means punctually), I don’t have much time to make something in the morning. That’s why I always pack an overnight oats. Otherwise I need to think of something unbelievably quick to wrap up. For most of the time, I can just toast some bread and spread out hummus in my fridge but we finished all already. So now I ask “What can I eat this morning?”

Then I remembered when my friend Sujin visited me in the Netherlands. I served her some granola I baked in batch for her breakfast. She loved them and wanted to get a recipe. But the problem was that she didn’t have an oven back in Korea. So I told her she could make it on a pan. I was unsure but told her to try it with small amount. When she got back to Korea, she sent me a big jar filled with freshly made granola. I was so proud of her.

So I thought why don’t I try that really quick? The result was simply great. It was much crunchier, nuttier, and freshier. What elevated the level of this breakfast to top was the fact that it took less than 10 mins to prepare everything. It requires a simple dump and stir which can save you a lot of time from crazy morning rush. Check out my YouTube video to get full details:
